LION’s GATE and August

August has a lot going on, it is peak Leo season, peak fire energy in a fire energy month in a fire year, there is a New Moon SOLAR ECLIPSE in Leo (more fire), followed by the Full Moon lunar eclipse in Pisces.

Lion’s Gate isn’t an astrological thing; it’s a recent new age tradition building on what the ancient Egyptians believed regarding the star Sirius. To the ancient Egyptians Sirius was the Goddess Sopdet, later called the Dog Star by the Romans, it climbs alongside the Sun in late July (hence the phrase the Dog Days of Summer).

We are all descended from stars, and will always have a connection to them. At this time of year Sirius reminds us of our direct link to ancient starseed knowledge. Lion’s Gate reminds us of our powerful connection to the Sun, the Stars and our Egyptian ancestors.

The Lion’s Gate portal however, is actually you.

- How much inner space have you created to absorb these powerful energies?

- Is your physical body able to absorb these powerful energies?

That’s a tricky one, as most Sensitives and Empaths I know are operating at a low battery level at the moment and really need to take care of their physical health. Take it easy on the 8^th and the next few days, just allow the energies to flow through you. Trust that they will be absorbed without you having to do anything.

Stay hydrated, it’s has been one helluva hot summer in so many places this year, you are more dehydrated than you realise. Drink more than you would usually (especially important for lightworkers), little and often throughout the day. Stay grounded even when you feel like you just want to float off. And please rest! Solar flares, world events (earthquakes, fires, floods), political cr*p, constant bombardment of frequencies we don’t want or need (5G etc), and hot weather have depleted many Lightworkers this year. Please look after yourself as you are very much needed.

If your mind won’t settle, get your journal out and answer these questions:

Tune into your inner guidance and gut feelings about every step you are taking, ask yourself:-

“What does my body need right now?” (then do it).

“What do I really want?”

“Do my day-to-day actions take me in the direction of my dream?”

“Does this (thing, person or place) make my energy go up or down?”

“What seems scary but actually is manageable?”

“Do I need to say Yes more?”

“Do I need to say No more?”

“What do I need to be more daring about?”

Check your chart, which house is Leo in? This is the area to reflect and journal on.

On a positive note, the numerology for 8^th August brings abundance energy. In Feng Shui 8 is the number of abundance, blessings and good fortune. 8^th August is 8-8 bringing double 8 energy – wonderful!

Of course, the 8 on its side is the Symbol of Infinity which weaves together past, present and future. Weave some infinity symbols around your aura to activate abundance energy and bring balance to your past, present and future.

Look after your heart with all this fire energy around, stay well away from anyone overreacting, keep yourself cool and calm. Try the 9 Hearts exercise:

Using both hands, trace a heart shape around your heart chakra, start at the centre and go up, outwards and join at the bottom. Repeat another 8 times, each time the heart gets slightly bigger, the last one can be traced from base chakra, right up around your shoulders and back down to your base. Finish with your hands on your thighs to ground the energy.

Get some rest before eclipse season starts to shake things up again, next week. Enjoy the rest of August.
