NEW MOON in PISCES

Pisces this is your new beginning, your New Year.  For the rest of us, it’s the end of the astrological year before the new one starts with Aries.  A time of closure, release and cosmic reset.

Ah dreamy, intuitive Pisces your watery energy makes it difficult to concentrate at times, you may find yourself daydreaming, preferring to float off rather than focus.  Stay grounded!  You need to be aware of what’s going on around you as best you can, otherwise you could get caught up in someone’s illusion or get scammed. 

Some of you may be dealing with feelings as they come up for acknowledgement and healing, go with the flow of this, it soon passes and it’s more wonderful clearing for you.  Be gentle with yourself, allow softness, let your body soften and relax, let your mind rest.  And stay away from negative ninnies and energy vampires.

This is not the time for major decisions, leave that until the end of the month.  It’s a time for connecting with the spiritual/intuitive aspects of the Self, also a great time to channel your energy into your creativity.

Make time for meditation, it will help you to connect to the higher energies which will provide you with the healing peace that you need, as well as receiving answers and ideas.  You need to make time to listen to the messages trying to get through, everything else can wait.

We have come full circle since 2020.  Therefore, let go of the past six years, let go of the heaviness, because you are stepping into a new type of energy now which is going to be so much better and lighter.  This week’s New Moon is the turning point, turning away from what has gone before as the New Moon helps it all to melt away, so that you can reclaim your energy and start building your new future from now on.

Ritual: Sweeping away the Old

You will need a broom and your main doorway open.

• Sweep around the room widdershins (anticlockwise) and sweep the energy out the door into the hallway (if you have one), then sweep it out of the main door and see the energy disappear on the wind.

• Use this chant as you do this “sweep, sweep, sweep the ground, all negativity shall be bound, I banish all that is profane, only positive shall remain.”

• Do this for each room and hallway.

• It’s also good to do this outside if you have a yard, sweep the energy out the garden gate and visualise it dispersing on the wind.

It’s time to get serious about the type of life you want to live.  Some of you will be having complete makeovers, so will your home and any environments that you inhabit, your work and social life will have a makeover too, how exciting!  Now you can be whoever you want to be, dress the way you want, live the way you want, love the way you want.  Yessss!

The first quarter of the year is nearly over, what do you want the next quarter to be like?  What needs your attention the most?  Your health?  Your finances?  Your relationships?  Your work?  Your image?  Your community?  Now is the time to make those changes, just take it step by step, but today at least take one step towards that, such as decluttering what was old you to make space for the new you.

And there’s no rush, in Chinese astrology we have moved into the lunar month of the metal Rabbit, “the gentle and sensitive Rabbit is a healer and an herbalist who lives on the Moon.”

Rabbit encourages us to take time for healing and self-care; we are still settling down after Eclipse season, so be kind to yourself.

Merc Retrograde ends – yaay!  For those of you who felt like they were drowning during this retrograde, you can finally come up for air as solid land is in sight.  Any tech and communication issues start to settle down at last.  This New Moon invites you to let go of the old stories you tell about yourself, you are invited to talk about yourself in a new way,  a way that fits with the new future you are creating for yourself.  How you communicate and how you talk about yourself is also part of your makeover.

Idea: build your future by creating a new altar with items that represent the future you want to build for yourself, and add some Spring flowers or a plant in a pot, so that you can see it grow (you can also write your desires on a small piece of paper and bury it in the soil before potting the plant).

Make the most of this quiet time, as Aries season will soon be upon us and then things start picking up speed,  so you need to be ready for that.  Trust your intuition, look after your health, keep letting go and clearing – enjoy revamping yourself and your life, rest and get ready for the next step.

The Spring Equinox this year opens the door to better energy, more clarity and at last things will move forward for you.  This is the start of making those big dreams and goals happen.
