Gemini is the sign of the twins, the networker of the zodiac and great at connecting people.  As an air sign Gemini represents the mind, intellect, ingenuity, progress, travel, writing, academia and social pursuits.  Keywords for Gemini are observer, communicator, curiosity, storytelling, journalism.

My father was a Gemini and although a man of few words, was passionate about reading and improving his mind, he loved to communicate what he learned to myself and my sister.  My love and respect for books comes from him.

The Gemini twins remind you to think about which twin is driving you at the moment?  Are you constantly in a tug of war with yourself?

As the sign of communication, Gemini reminds you to think before you speak, are your words of positive benefit to self and others?

Calm your mind so that you can create space for the answers you seek.  Be open to sudden insights, unexpected synchronicities, spontaneous conversations and intuitive flashes, and don’t dismiss them, they could be the answer you have been seeking.

This New Moon supermoon invites you to communicate from your heart, what words open your heart and what words make it feel tight and want to close?  Connect with your beautiful heart, it’s your truth barometer.  In your dealings with others, trust your heart, are they just talking the talk or are they really walking their talk?  Your heart helps you to discern much better than your mind ever will, and trust your gut it always knows.

This Gemini New Moon has created an astrological blank space to enable you to create/manifest whatever you want.  Be open to possibility and know that it can happen for you.  Here’s a gentle ritual to help you do that and to help your beautiful heart.

NEW MOON Ritual – do this the day AFTER the New Moon**

Make time to sit quietly and take a few deep breaths.

Place a drop of Rose essential oil in the palm of your hand and squish into the palm of the other hand, then gently inhale the fragrance and waft your hands around your aura.  (The Rose has the highest vibration of any other plant on Earth; it is soothing and calms the nervous system).

Now place one or both hands over your heart and focus on breathing through your heart chakra.  Focus on what you wish to manifest through the power of the Super New Moon, speak your wishes aloud or write in your journal.

Then sit awhile longer feeling the energy, and finally close with this chant:

Moon unseen, yet close this night

Clear my mind with sacred light.

Words of truth now rise in me

Heart and voice in harmony.

Gemini winds, whisper clear

Bring the message I need to hear.

Old stories fade, new pathways start

I speak with wisdom from my heart.

So it is, and so I grow

With every breath, my truth shall flow.

**the reason for doing this the day after is because on the day of the New Moon, 15 June, the Moon is void, meaning your efforts will disappear into a black hole. Do the Ritual on the 16^th to plant your seeds of intention.

This New Moon is helpful for intentions that can evolve, you don’t need to know the whole picture yet or how to get there, just start with your wishes, your prayers, the message you want the Universe to hear.

Your voice matters, whether you express that vocally or in writing or prayer, the Universe hears you and encourages you to use your voice more in your life.

Your homework before the next New Moon is to drop one old story about who you are (because it’s become an automatic habit you need to break), and start speaking a new story about who you are.  The more you speak the new story, the more natural it will feel and the more it will manifest in your life.

As we build up to the Solstice on the 21st, the energies can feel intense and emotions may be close to the surface – especially anger.  Stop - recognise this is happening – take a few deep breaths.

Also, a heads up that Mercury (planet of communication) goes retrograde on the 29^th but be aware that the shadow effects will start the week before.
